Terms and Conditions – Embellish My Heart

Terms & Conditions — Embellish My Heart

Effective Date: September 2026

By purchasing a product or service from, booking an event with, or purchasing educational content or a consultation from Embellish My Heart, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase.

Different sections of these Terms apply to different products and services. Terms relating to a product or service you did not purchase do not apply to that purchase.

1. General Terms

All orders and services are subject to availability, current production schedules, and the scope confirmed at the time of purchase or booking.

Estimated production, delivery, shipping, setup, event, or completion times are estimates unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of Embellish My Heart.

Pricing, product availability, services, policies, and offerings may change at any time. Changes will not alter the agreed scope or price of an existing confirmed order or booking unless both parties agree to a change.

When a separate proposal, invoice, booking agreement, or written scope is provided for a particular order or event, the terms specific to that transaction will control if they differ from these general Terms & Conditions.

2. Custom & Personalized Products

Customer-provided information

Customers are responsible for reviewing and providing accurate names, dates, spelling, wording, monograms, initials, artwork, personalization details, and other information submitted for an order.

Embellish My Heart is not responsible for errors contained in information that was submitted or approved by the customer.

Proofs and approvals

When a proof or design approval is required, production may not begin until approval is received.

Customer approval confirms acceptance of the spelling, wording, layout, and other details shown in the proof. Changes requested after approval or after production has begun may result in additional charges or may not be possible.

Personalized and made-to-order items

Because personalized and custom items are created specifically for the purchaser, sales of personalized and custom products are final once production has begun unless the item is defective or Embellish My Heart made an error that differs from the information approved or provided by the customer.

Customer-provided items

Customer-provided items must be approved for engraving or personalization before work begins.

Not every material, coating, product, or item is suitable for laser engraving or personalization. Embellish My Heart reserves the right to decline an item that cannot reasonably or safely be engraved or personalized.

Laser engraving permanently alters the surface of an item. Variations in coatings, materials, manufacturing, finishes, and other characteristics may affect the final appearance.

Glass and fragile materials

Glass and other fragile materials carry an inherent risk of cracking, chipping, breaking, or reacting unpredictably during engraving.

When a customer supplies an item for engraving, the customer acknowledges and accepts this inherent risk. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Embellish My Heart is not responsible for replacing customer-provided items damaged as a result of an inherent material failure during otherwise reasonable engraving procedures.

Local drop-off and pickup

When local drop-off or pickup is required, location, timing, and other instructions will be provided for the applicable order.

3. Live Event Engraving & Personalization Services

The following terms apply to live, on-site engraving and personalization services provided by Embellish My Heart.

Booking and payment

Event pricing, payment requirements, retainers or deposits when applicable, payment deadlines, products, quantities, event duration, staffing, travel, and other event-specific terms will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or booking agreement.

An inquiry, conversation, requested date, or proposal alone does not guarantee that an event date is reserved.

An event date is considered secured only when the booking requirements stated in the applicable proposal or invoice have been completed.

Event scope

Pricing is based on the scope agreed upon for the event.

Changes to event duration, guest count, product quantity, personalization options, staffing requirements, location, setup requirements, products, or other elements may affect pricing and availability.

Requested additions or changes are not guaranteed and must be approved by Embellish My Heart.

Guest participation and quantities

When products are being personalized live, actual guest participation cannot be guaranteed.

The number of guests who choose to participate may differ from the estimated guest count or quantity of products available.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, payment is based on the contracted event scope and not on the number of guests who ultimately participate.

Venue access and setup

The client is responsible for ensuring that Embellish My Heart has reasonable access to the venue and an appropriate location in which to provide the contracted service.

Any required electrical access, tables, workspace, ventilation considerations, arrival instructions, loading information, parking information, credentials, security requirements, or venue restrictions should be communicated before the event when applicable.

Embellish My Heart is not responsible for service delays or reduced operating time caused by late venue access, unavailable required utilities, venue restrictions that were not previously disclosed, security delays, relocation requests, or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Travel

Travel requirements and any applicable travel charges will be determined based on the individual event and included in the applicable proposal or invoice when required.

Outdoor events and weather

Outdoor live engraving is dependent upon conditions that allow equipment to be operated safely.

Embellish My Heart may pause, relocate, modify, or discontinue operation if weather, moisture, excessive heat, wind, electrical conditions, or another environmental condition creates an unreasonable risk to people or equipment.

Cancellation, rescheduling, and force majeure

Cancellation and rescheduling terms specific to an event will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or booking agreement when applicable.

Embellish My Heart is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, venue closures, government restrictions, utility failures, emergencies, or other force majeure events.

When possible, Embellish My Heart will work reasonably with the client regarding rescheduling, subject to availability and the terms of the applicable booking agreement.

Equipment and service interruptions

Live engraving involves specialized equipment and technology. Although Embellish My Heart prepares and tests equipment in advance, unexpected technical issues may occur.

Reasonable efforts will be made to resolve equipment or software issues and continue service when possible. Specific backup equipment or uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed unless expressly included in the contracted scope.

4. Live Engraving, Unfiltered

The following terms apply to the purchase and use of Live Engraving, Unfiltered (“LEU”).

Educational purpose

Live Engraving, Unfiltered is an educational resource based on Donna Mullins’ personal experience building and operating the live engraving portion of her business.

It includes lessons, observations, examples, processes, mistakes, experiences, and approaches she has personally used or learned through her work.

LEU is not a certification, professional credential, franchise, business opportunity, or guarantee of success.

Scope of information

LEU focuses on subjects related to live engraving and event personalization, which may include equipment, testing, products, event preparation, workflow, guest experience, capacity, pricing considerations specific to live engraving, event opportunities, and lessons learned through Donna’s own experience.

No guarantee of business results

Purchasing or completing Live Engraving, Unfiltered does not guarantee any particular business result.

Embellish My Heart and Donna Mullins do not guarantee that you will:

• Obtain paid live engraving events
• Receive leads, inquiries, or clients
• Increase sales or revenue
• Become profitable
• Recover the cost of equipment or other business expenses
• Obtain wedding, corporate, retail, venue, private, or other event opportunities
• Successfully convert inquiries into bookings
• Obtain repeat business
• Achieve any particular pricing level
• Build a full-time or part-time income
• Achieve the same results, opportunities, experiences, or outcomes as Donna Mullins or Embellish My Heart

Examples from Donna’s business are provided to explain her experience and are not promises, predictions, or representations of the results another person will achieve.

Your results depend upon your own circumstances, market, skills, equipment, preparation, practice, availability, decisions, effort, follow-through, and many other factors outside the control of Donna Mullins and Embellish My Heart.

Matters outside the scope of LEU

Live Engraving, Unfiltered does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, or other licensed professional advice.

Donna does not provide instruction through LEU regarding an individual purchaser’s:

• Taxes or tax obligations
• Accounting or bookkeeping
• Business finances or financial management
• Business formation or legal structure
• Licenses, permits, or regulatory compliance
• Contracts or interpretation of legal documents
• Legal rights, obligations, disputes, or liabilities
• Selection or interpretation of insurance policies or coverage

References to general business considerations are made only in the context of Donna’s personal live engraving experience.

Where professional guidance is necessary, purchasers are responsible for consulting an appropriately qualified professional.

Equipment, materials, testing, and safety

Any information regarding lasers, equipment, materials, engraving settings, testing methods, ventilation, filtration, electrical requirements, products, or event setup is educational and based on Donna’s personal experience.

Machines, materials, coatings, manufacturers, product batches, environments, and other variables may produce different results.

Any settings or examples provided should be treated as examples or starting points rather than guaranteed settings.

You are responsible for testing your own equipment and materials, determining whether a material is appropriate and safe to engrave, following manufacturer instructions and safety requirements, and establishing safe operating practices for your own equipment and environment.

Personal responsibility

Purchasing educational information does not replace the practice, testing, preparation, learning, and decision-making required to offer live engraving services.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to implement any information provided through LEU.

5. 1:1 Live Engraving Consultations

The following additional terms apply to 1:1 Live Engraving Consultations with Donna Mullins.

Purpose and scope

A 1:1 Live Engraving Consultation is a private 60-minute educational conversation focused specifically on live engraving, event personalization, and questions related to the purchaser’s live engraving situation or opportunity.

Topics may include:

• Getting started with live engraving
• Equipment and event setup
• Product testing and personalization options
• Event workflow and guest experience
• Capacity and timing
• General pricing considerations specific to live engraving services
• Preparing for an upcoming live engraving event or opportunity
• Challenges or questions related to live engraving

The consultation is not general business consulting.

Matters Donna will not advise on

Donna Mullins does not provide and will not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, or other licensed professional advice during a consultation.

Questions regarding the following are outside the scope of the consultation:

• Taxes, tax collection, filing, deductions, or tax obligations
• Accounting or bookkeeping
• Your business finances, financial planning, or financial management
• Business formation or legal structure
• Licenses, permits, regulatory compliance, or legal requirements
• Contracts, contract language, interpretation of contracts, legal rights, disputes, or liabilities
• Insurance policy selection, coverage amounts, or interpretation of insurance coverage

Donna may mention, based on her own experience, that appropriate business insurance is an important consideration when providing services at events. She will not determine or recommend what insurance coverage is appropriate for your business. Those questions should be directed to a qualified insurance professional.

If a question falls outside the scope of live engraving or requires professional advice, Donna may decline to answer it and recommend that you consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Pricing discussions

Pricing may be discussed only in the context of Donna’s personal experience with live engraving and general factors she considers when evaluating live engraving work.

These factors may include event duration, preparation, setup and breakdown, product, personalization, staffing, travel, equipment requirements, capacity, and scope.

Donna will not analyze your business finances, determine your profitability, tell you what your business can afford, prepare financial projections, or make financial decisions for your business.

You remain solely responsible for establishing your own prices and deciding whether a particular opportunity makes sense for your business.

No guarantee of results

Purchasing or participating in a consultation does not guarantee sales, revenue, profit, leads, clients, event bookings, business growth, or any other particular result.

Donna cannot guarantee that a prospective client, venue, planner, company, or organization will hire you or that implementing an idea discussed during the consultation will produce a particular outcome.

Consultation duration and access

A consultation includes up to 60 minutes of scheduled time.

The purchase of a consultation does not include ongoing coaching, unlimited follow-up questions, continuing access to Donna, additional research, document review, or services outside the scheduled consultation unless separately agreed upon.

Recording

1:1 Live Engraving Consultations are conducted through Google Meet and may be recorded so the purchaser can revisit the conversation afterward.

The participant will be informed that recording is taking place. By proceeding with the recorded consultation after being informed, the participant acknowledges and consents to the recording.

Access to the recording is intended to be provided by email or shared link within 48 hours following the consultation.

Recordings depend upon third-party technology. Embellish My Heart cannot guarantee that a recording will be successfully created, processed, or preserved if a technical failure, platform outage, corrupted file, or other circumstance outside its reasonable control occurs.

The purchased service is the live 60-minute consultation. Failure of the recording technology does not mean that the consultation itself was not provided.

6. Intellectual Property & Access

Live Engraving, Unfiltered and its original written materials, videos, presentations, lessons, checklists, downloads, graphics, educational content, and related materials are the intellectual property of Donna Mullins and/or Embellish My Heart unless otherwise stated.

Purchase grants the purchaser a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the purchased materials for their own education and implementation in their own business.

Purchasers may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, upload, share, resell, sublicense, provide login access to another person, commercially teach from, or create competing educational materials from LEU content without written permission.

A consultation recording provided to a purchaser is for that purchaser’s personal reference. It may not be sold, publicly posted, redistributed, published, used to create educational content, or otherwise commercially exploited without written permission.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a purchaser from applying what they personally learn to the operation of their own live engraving business.

7. Third-Party Products, Platforms & Services

Embellish My Heart may use or reference third-party equipment, software, manufacturers, products, suppliers, payment processors, scheduling systems, video-conferencing platforms, websites, or other services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Embellish My Heart does not control these third parties and is not responsible for changes to their products, pricing, availability, policies, performance, security, features, outages, discontinuation, or other actions.

Purchasers are responsible for independently evaluating third-party products and services before purchasing or using them.

8. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Embellish My Heart and Donna Mullins are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential business losses resulting from a purchaser’s independent implementation or use of educational information provided through LEU or a consultation.

This may include lost opportunities, lost revenue, unsuccessful events, product loss, equipment issues, or business decisions made by the purchaser.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.

9. Changes to Educational Information

Live engraving equipment, software, products, platforms, manufacturers, vendors, and industry practices change over time.

Educational information reflects Donna’s experience and understanding at the time the information is created or discussed. Embellish My Heart does not guarantee that every piece of educational information will remain current indefinitely.

10. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase and checking the required Terms & Conditions box, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms and agree to the provisions applicable to the product or service you are purchasing.

If purchasing Live Engraving, Unfiltered or a 1:1 Live Engraving Consultation, you specifically acknowledge that:

• The information is educational and based on Donna Mullins’ personal experience.
• No sales, revenue, profit, leads, clients, bookings, or other business results are promised or guaranteed.
• Legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, and other licensed professional matters are outside the scope of the educational product and consultation.
• You remain responsible for your own business decisions, testing, implementation, safety practices, and results.
• Educational materials and consultation recordings are subject to the personal-use and intellectual-property restrictions contained in these Terms.
